First, place the aquarium near the water hose and removes the water and other objects like sand, stones, or buildup. You have to put the fish and another aquatic inhabitant in the alternate available option. 

Second, you can use the towel or cotton cloth to wipe the tank and dry it for a while so that all the area becomes dry. You place the aquarium into its position and arrange it for repair. You position it at a table and covers it with soft stuff like newspaper or some other stuff. 

Third, you have to select the acrylic glue. It contains two types thick and thin acrylic glue. It depends on the crack size, and if the crack is small, then use the thin glue, but for the large one, use the thick.

Fourth, acrylic glue contains fumes, so you put on the mask and choose the well-ventilated place. If the crack is small enough to find it is difficult to repair, you can use the drill with a 1/16 size drilling capacity to enlarge the cracks.

Fill the acrylic glue in the syringe and inject it into the cracks. Leave the sealant for 1 minute so that it goes to adjust.

You have to place the aquarium into a suitable position and put weight on the crack side so that it can join tightly. It takes 24 hours to ensure that glue fix moderately. 

If the cracks are large and you use the thick glue, then put it on one side. Now, press these cracks gently so that they can fix them firmly for 3 to 4 minutes. Place the aquarium free for 24 hours.

Insulated sheet for aquarium crack repairing

You can also use the insulated sheet to protect the aquarium from further future damage. If the aquarium bottom surface is crack, then buy the insulation sheet and place it on it. It also uses for the sidewall of the aquarium.

Styrofoam placement
