You give them enough time so that they accustom to it. You can almost give them one week for it, and then they do not eat it indicates that it is not enough for them.

Second, you do not throw the sheet directly into the fish tank. First, cut it into small pieces or in thin strips form and then roll in the cylindrical shape, which helps to eat with ease and digest it. Some aquarists use more than one clip so that the competition for the food reduces.

You can give the red one and the green one in a gap. Like, give the red seaweed for one day and the green for the next day. You cannot feed them daily in their diet. You give it to your fish after 2 to 3 days for 2 to 3 hours approximately.

Overfeeding

Avoid using the seaweed in the excess form can cause overfeeding. It also influences the water quality of the fish tank. Remove the uneaten pieces from the aquarium after a short period. Only put that amount which can consume in a short time.
