Chop or grind the large particles of food and then supply it as a meal. The tiny shrimps cannot digest the big particles of vegetable and other food items. Add different things and make the menu versatile for them.

The size of the food particles should not increase by three hundred microns. Grind it even smaller if you have such equipment. Feed them in small amounts, but it should contain the nutritional values.

Keep the nitrates below twenty to twenty-five parts per million. It is a dangerous component of the red rili shrimps. Changing water regularly after three days automatically reduces the level of nitrates and other toxic substances.

Keep the process of feeding slow and moderate. Excessive feeding is lethal for their health, and they can die due to this factor.

Red rili shrimps breeding

These are the ancestors of the red cherry shrimps. All of them have got a few specifications and traits from their forefathers.

The breeding process is not a challenging thing in these tiny creatures. The procedure includes adding both male and female shrimps inside the fish tank. Start with a group of 10 to 20 shrimps.

The high quality of food and excellent water parameters support the breeding procedure. The female shrimps get pregnant immediately, and they carry their eggs.

All the female shrimps accumulate the eggs on the backside of the body. The tail of the shrimp provides maximum protection and support. Waving the water over the body of female shrimp keeps them safe and healthy. It is a way of protection from fungus on their skin.

The eggs take the time of thirty days to hatch. The newborn is a copy of their adults. There is no need to move the pregnant females to the other fish tank. Always provide the maximum quantity of food and keep the water parameters in an excellent state.

The newborns are the same as their parents. They are so rapid in their growth that they immediately get the full shape. The abdomen generates all the essential things, and the RILI shrimps reach the stage of breeding.

These are tiny, and a small change is miserable for them. A sudden water change affects them a lot, and the inappropriate water conditions are lethal.

In the absence of oxygen, they start feeling the sensation of suffocation and in-sufficient breathing. All of these parameters cause the death of the shrimp. Remove them from the tank after their death, or they might harm other shrimps and the environment inside the water tank.

Cost

They are cost-effective and somehow cheap. Also, everyone buys shrimps in groups because they cannot survive alone. The average cost is $2-$5 and available in the fish stores.
